In mid-November 2009, ELECOM CO., LTD. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President: Junji Hada) will release four models of the MacBook case, a tight-fitting hard protective sleeve of polycarbonate, to protect MacBook from scratches and dirt.
The SC-PCAM series, a hard protective sleeve made of polycarbonate, fully protects MacBook's innovative design and high-precision aluminum metallic luster from scratches and dirt. Light, durable and transparent polycarbonate is used for aircraft cabin windows, helmet visors etc., particularly for its excellent durability. This transparent polycarbonate hard sleeve protects the MacBook body securely, without concealing the PC's beautiful form.
This series, which consists of two parts - the upper and lower covers - can be attached to the MacBook body using the sleeve hooks, which can be easily attached and detached. The protective sleeve is not bulky, so the PC can be easily used. Cables can be connected and media inserted via the port openings in the sleeve- no need to remove the sleeve (*). The sleeve lower cover has slits for heat release from the PC body. Also, silicone rubber feet on the cover bottom protect against scratches and slippage while the PC is in use.
Four models are available: the SC-PCAMA series for MacBook Air, the SC-PCAMB series for MacBook, the SC-PCAMP13 series for the 13" MacBook Pro, and the SC-PCAMP15 series for the 15" MacBook Pro.
The SC-PCAM series fully protects the attractively portable MacBook from scratches and dirt. Users can place the PC directly into their bag, carry it around, and take it out to use, without worry of damage. This series thus enhances the value of the MacBook.
* In MacBooks with replaceable battery, the protective sleeve must be detached for battery replacement. |
