In late August, ELECOM CO., LTD. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President: Junji Hada) will release a new series of canal-type headphones, Actrail, designed for sports enthusiasts. While featuring open ear caps that allow surrounding noise to be heard, the Actrail headphones will not easily fall off one's ears during sports such as running.
More and more people enjoy sports such as walking, running and gym exercises while listening to music with a portable audio player or mobile phone with an audio player function. Conventional types of headphones including neck band and ear-hanging types, however, tend to fall off from the ears as a result of intense body movement during sports, which can be quite a nuisance. Meanwhile, when wearing canal-type headphones that stay firmly in place, the wearer cannot hear surrounding noise and thus feels uneasy.
To solve these problems above, ELECOM introduces a new canal-type headphone, Actrail: EHP-SPIN100 series, designed on the concept of comfortable usability during sports.
Featuring canal-type earbuds that stay firmly in the ears, Actrail headphones enable the wearer to enjoy listening to music without being accidentally interrupted while running or exercising.
Meanwhile, the incorporated open ear caps, each of which has a hole, allow surrounding noise to be heard appropriately enough (patent and design registration applied for). So, you can safely enjoy music and sport at the same time without being isolated from surrounding noise.*

Fully satisfying the basic performance expected in headphones, products in the new series reproduce well-balanced sound from low to high frequencies. For a better in-ear fit, three sizes of earpieces are provided: S, M and L sizes, with 2 sets in each size. In addition, the headphones are equipped with a convenient cable holder to neatly organize the excess cable. Using the built-in clip, the holder can be easily attached to your clothing to make your running more comfortable.
The products are offered in a selection of six colors including chic black and white, vivid blue, and purple. Choose your favorite color and enjoy coordinating with the colors of your exercise outfit or running shoes. |
