Starting in late November, ELECOM CO., LTD. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President: Junji Hada) will be adding the new neckband-type headphones line "EHP-SPNBS01" to its Actrail sports series. The new line is tailored to the use of the 2010-version iPod shuffle.

Today, runners, joggers, walkers and exercise machine users commonly enjoy music during their workouts, using a portable audio player or a mobile phone. In response to this trend, since August ELECOM has been marketing the Actrail sports headphone/earphone series, to satisfy the needs of those sports lovers who seek a more comfortable feeling when using headphones/earphones while in motion. The Actrail series is now very popular among those consumers.

To be added to this popular series as the third line will be the "EHP-SPNBS01," tailored to use of the 2010-version iPod shuffle (*), equipped with a clip. All you need to do is to plug your iPod shuffle into the right-ear unit of the product, and you are ready to enjoy your music.
* This product is not compatible with the 2009 and earlier versions of iPod shuffle.

To use this product, put it on from the rear, so that its neckband rests on the back of your neck with the earpads placed over your ears. The neckband is specifically designed to ensure stable wearing during sports. Besides, this product enables cordless use of an iPod shuffle, making it possible for runners to enjoy music comfortably without annoyance due to tangled cords or cord-caused rubbing noise. In addition, the product (without an iPod shuffle) weighs only 46 grams, which won’t put much burden on your neck and shoulder. Your running and workout will be more enjoyable and comfortable with this user-friendly headphone set.

Regarding sound performance, this product guarantees substantial, well-balanced performance from low-frequency to high-frequency sounds. The earpads do not cover up your ears tightly, avoiding a complete cutoff of surrounding sounds, which is ideal from the safety standpoint. The earpads are consumable, and you can get spares for convenient replacement. This EHP-SPNBS01 line comes in two colors, including standard "Gray" and feminine "Pink."
