TOKYO—Toshiba Corporation (TOKYO: 6502) today announced the latest production status at Toshiba Group facilities in Thailand damaged in last year's floods.
Toshiba Carrier (Thailand) Co., Ltd.'s factory in Bangkadi Industrial Park will resume production of small air-conditioners today. Initial output will be directed to meeting demand in the Asian and European markets.
Two other facilities in Bangkadi Industrial Park have already restarted operation. Toshiba Lighting Components (Thailand) Ltd. resumed production of lamps for OA equipment on February 16, and Thai Toshiba Lighting Co., Ltd. resumed production of fluorescent lamps on February 18.
