Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for Industrial Chain Plant in China

On March 1, Tsubakimoto Chain (Tianjin) Co., Ltd.*, an industrial chain manufacturing subsidiary established by Tsubakimoto Chain Co. in Tianjin, China, held a groundbreaking ceremony at the start of construction of its new plant in Jinghai County, Tianjin.

The auspicious groundbreaking ceremony was held in the presence of about 100 participants. Guests included Governor Son of Jinghai County, Tianjin; other government officials; and representatives of companies in the construction industry.

Governor Sohn, as the guest of honor, delivered a congratulatory message expressing his full support for this, the largest project in Jinghai County. Yasuhiro Akesaka, President of Tsubakimoto Chain (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., delivered his message, saying, "I want to ensure the success of this project in the Chinese market with the cooperation of all concerned." A prayer for safe construction followed.

The plant is scheduled for completion in September, with the start of production expected in October.
