Sumitomo Corporation and Duke Energy Renewables Secure Financing for Kansas Wind Farms

Sumitomo Corporation (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Susumu Kato) in conjunction with its subsidiary Sumitomo Corporation of America has announced today that the companies have finalized their 50-50 ownership arrangement for two Kansas wind farms and secured approximately $353 million in financing for construction and operating costs.
