Nippon Express Co., Ltd. (Kenji Watanabe, President) is the first Japanese forwarder to gain accreditation as a Qualified Envirotainer Provider (QEP). The accreditation was secured for three Nippon Express centers at Narita, Haneda, and Kansai airports.
QEP is an accreditation system recognizing companies consistently engaged in quality control and employee training in the handling of temperature-controlled containers in accordance with the Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines for logistics operations utilized primarily by the pharmaceutical industry.
This accreditation attests to a forwarder's ability to safely handle temperature-controlled containers and constitutes a pledge to provide customers with high-quality temperature-controlled transport services.
Nippon Express will seek QEP accreditation for its global operating centers to expand its certified business locations overseas as well, and is committed to providing door-to-door cold chain transportation.
