Fuji Electric Adopts a New Brand Statement

Tokyo, June 26, 2012 - Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. (TOKYO: 6504) announces today that it has adopted a new brand statement.

1. New brand statement

This new brand statement was created to reflect Fuji Electric’s mission: Through our pursuit of innovation in electric and thermal energy technology, we aim to create a responsible and sustainable society.

July 1, 2012


3. Reason for revising the brand statement

In April 2011, the Company reorganized from a pure holdings company structure and started anew as Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. The Company is now pursuing its “Global Fuji Electric” management policy as a means to expand operations internationally. The brand statement was revised in the context of these changes.
The new brand statement was designed to clearly express Fuji Electric’s key business domain and the value it offers. Fuji Electric will employ the brand statement with the goal to be a company that can contribute to realizing sustainable societies, offer advantages to international customers, and leverage the collective capabilities of its teams of employees working around the world.
