ITOCHU Announces Change of the Corporate Name of ITOCHU ELECTRONICS CORP., to ITOCHU INTERACTIVE CORP.

ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Masahiro Okafuji, President & CEO; hereinafter “ITOCHU”) announced today that its information-related subsidiary, ITOCHU ELECTRONICS CORP. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Toyohisa Tsuji, President & CEO; hereinafter “ITOCHU ELECTRONICS”), has changed its corporate name to ITOCHU INTERACTIVE CORP. (hereinafter “ITOCHU INTERACTIVE”), since July 1, 2012.

ITOCHU ELECTRONICS has engaged in export and domestic sales of information devices and other related devices since its establishment in 1982 and then in 2000 completely switched its business to IT services, Internet business, and other related businesses. Today, ITOCHU ELECTRONICS undertakes a number of marketing businesses in electronic business fields as a professional corporation merging IT technologies and marketing knowhow.

The new corporate name, ITOCHU INTERACTIVE, indicates that the corporation will create interactive services for a new age. Taking this opportunity, the corporation aims to become a partner that will create new value with customers in an increasingly advanced information-oriented society.

In addition, ITOCHU Corporation will regard ITOCHU INTERACTIVE as a core corporation of the ITOCHU Group which will develop and operate marketing service platforms making use of Internet technologies, and will contribute to the business of client corporations in consumer-related and other sectors.
