ELECOM CO., LTD. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka, Japan; President: Junji Hada) will launch new earplug headphones in the middle of July; the new “EHP-IN30 Series” includes a selection of silicone rings and ear caps that provide 12 different combinations to choose from to find the best fit for your ear, all in a great range of colors.
With the increased use of devices for listening to music outside the home such as the iPod and the Walkman®, as well as cell phones and smartphones, the use of headphones in everyday life has become more widespread. In line with this trend, the needs of headphone users have also become increasingly more subdivided.
The new “EHP-IN30 Series” is a new type of earplug headphones that has been developed with the objective of making it fit more comfortably in your ear than any other product in the market.
In ordIn order to give users the ability to adjust the fit of their headphones, the “EHP-IN30 Series” includes silicone rings in 3 different sizes, and ear caps in 4 different sizes. These two parts can be put together to provide 12 different combinations to choose from to find the best fit for your ear, offering you an even more comfortable and improved fit when compared to traditional earplug headphones. Just like other existing ELECOM products, the ear caps include an XS size, which is smaller than the S size, particularly recommended for ladies. Also, these headphones have a solid basis in terms of performance, being able to reproduce well balanced sounds from the low ranges to the high ranges. These headphones have “earplugs” designed to fit in the inner ear, which provide high sound insulation, so they can be used easily without worrying about messing up your hairstyle. They are also light and compact so you are less likely to become tired when using them for long periods of time.
Another great feature of the “EHP-IN30 Series” is its great range of colors. The headphone cord has been designed to match the color of the headphones themselves, offering monochrome models in simple and yet stylish colors, as well as 3-tone mixed color models. You can choose the best colors to match your portable audio player, for example an iPod or a Walkman®, or your smartphone or cell phone (※); or you can coordinate the colors to match your outfit, offering a much wider range than ever before to express yourself. The length of the cable is a standard 1.2m so you can easily leave the headphones plugged into your audio player inside your bag.
