Acrodea, Fujitsu BCS enter into partnership License agreement

With UI platform at the core, business opportunity growth eyed for mobile phones, home electronics manufacturers

December 10, 2008 (Tokyo, Japan)—Acrodea, Inc. (CEO and President: Junya Tsutsumi), headquartered in Meguro-ku, Tokyo, and Fujitsu Broad Solution & Consulting, Inc. (President and CEO: Takao Kaneko), headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, announce their execution of a partnership license agreement, effective September 30, 2008, that names Fujitsu BSC as an agency and official system integrator for mobile middleware VIVIDUI, developed by Acrodea.

To date, Acrodea has engaged in the development and release of second-nature, easy-to-use, and breakthrough UI solutions. The user interface platform VIVID UI has, consequently, received adoption mainly among mobile telephone businesses.

Leveraging a broad business network and accumulated expertise for embedded systems in mobile phones, digital home appliances, and car electronics, Fujitsu BSC has provided a full line of software services ranging from embedded systems development to product validation for a vast array of products.

Going forward, Acrodea and Fujitsu BSC intend to distribute VIVID UI widely to various home electronics manufacturers, including mobile phone makers, by activating their respective engineering capabilities and networks. The companies will offer uncompromised, full support services to manufacturers that adopt VIVID UI.
