Structural Changes and
Changes in Directors, Executive Officers, and General Managers
| Noritsu Koki Co., Ltd., (head office based in Umehara, Wakayama City) hereby announces that its board of directors has adopted a resolution involving the reorganization and changes in directors, executive officers, and general managers as follows: | | | | 1. | Reorganization | | | The Company will make the following changes in the organization to strengthen the management structure and further improve operational efficiency effective July 1, 2009. | | | | | 2. | Details of changes | | | ・ | The corporate strategy meeting and the new business strategy section meeting will be established as deliberative bodies aimed at bolstering the management structure. | | | ・ | The New Business Management, which will have control over the New Business Unit will be established. | | | ・ | The Tornado Project directly supervised by the president will be upgraded to division status and renamed the Ecological Printing Device Business Division, which will then be brought under the New Business Unit. | | | ・ | The Skilled Manufacturing Innovation Management, which currently exercises control over the Research & Development Unit, Production & Manufacturing Unit, and Customer Service Unit will have technological control from a companywide perspective, and then renamed the Technology and Skilled Manufacturing Innovation Management. | | | ・ | The MDR Project directly supervised by the president will be brought under the Research & Development Unit from the standpoint of future potential for growth and developmental efficiency. | | | ・ | In order to enhance the operational efficiency in sales and marketing, the North American Sales & Marketing Unit will be integrated into the Sales & Marketing Unit. In addition, the North American Sales Division and Sales Division for Central & South American will be consolidated, and then renamed the Sales Division for the Americas. | | | ・ | Marketing & Sales Management will be established for control over the sales and marketing-related units ( Sales & Marketing Unit and Marketing Unit). | | | ・ | The Intellectual Properties Division currently under the Research & Development Unit will be brought under the Operations Administration Unit, which will take charge of the intellectual properties across the company. | | | ・ | In order to reinforce operating management, the Management Administration Division will be newly placed under the control of the Management Administration Unit.
